Gorana Klaas joined Julius Baer Real Estate Ltd. in the Commercial Brokerage division in September 2024. She is responsible for the brokerage and development of real estate in the investment area and accompanies the entire purchase or sale process from the initial strategic consultation to the transfer of ownership.

How did you discover your passion for the real estate sector?

When I worked at the notary’s office, land registry and bankruptcy office in the canton of Zurich. I kept coming into contact with different stakeholders from the property industry. This reinforced my interest in the sector, as did my further education. 

Why did you specialise in the commercial property sector?

I am fascinated by commercial property and the people behind it. On the one hand, it’s the figures for investment properties and the diversification of customers and clients. I was already interested in investment property as a teenager. Even back then, I was interested in topics such as building structure, building style and the development of the sector.

Getting up early with relaxing jazz music - a perfect moment to prepare breakfast or brunch and to review the week and plan the week ahead. In the best company, if possible always with my own family.
