With so much experience, how do you manage to be so passionate about your work?
For me, the secret is clearly enjoying what I do. I am motivated by helping people sell or find their dream home. For many people, a property is more than just an object - it’s a home, a living space full of memories and plans for the future. Being able to play a crucial role in this process, while being creative, is what makes my job so fulfilling. I also love the challenge of finding individual solutions and constantly breaking new ground.
What do you like best about your job?
Definitely the people! My focus is clearly on the buyers and sellers I am privileged to assist. Every property has a story and every transaction brings new challenges. The interaction between the parties is what makes my job exciting, as each situation is unique. I find it particularly fascinating that I am always discovering new places and properties. Another plus is that you never stop learning in the property industry - trends change, markets evolve and that’s what makes the job so dynamic and varied.
How did you get into property and how have you progressed?
My journey into the property industry started early. I earned my first money in construction while I was at secondary school. This practical experience gave me an early feel for architecture and craftsmanship. I went on to study interior design and worked for many years in prestigious architectural practices, particularly in the field of urban planning. The change from planner to luxury property saleswoman almost 20 years ago was a logical step for me, allowing me to live out my passion for architecture in a new way. It is a decision I have never regretted, as it allows me to combine my expertise with direct contact with people.
What does your perfect Sunday morning look like?
For me, a perfect Sunday morning means above all having peace and quiet and plenty of time. My favourite thing is a hearty breakfast, preferably in the garden, in the sun, with my family and good friends. No appointments, no rush - just relaxing, having good conversations, laughing together and enjoying nature. Moments like these give me energy and motivation for the week ahead.
